CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system — comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch, generally no greater than five grams or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.
By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, as well as to help with a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and concussions to stroke and neurological impairment.
This compendium of case stories has been written by practitioners to share with you the power and possibilities of CST. These case stories serve as a testament that CranioSacral Therapy may be an answer to your pain.
This is a great book to give as a gift or to sell to patients and promote the possibilities of CST.
